CHALLENGES

The customer’s SAP user community faced a variety of challenges when working with SAP’s Business Warehouse system and the corresponding Business Objects and Microsoft PowerBI reporting solutions.

This included:

Untimely data availability due to prolonged data extraction and transformation affecting business performance.
Report performance degradation as data volume increased as more entities went live on SAP ECC and BW.
Challenges with month end reporting and the need for more real time reporting.

RESULTS

Four months of dedicated IT and business efforts to resolve technical issues, testing, validation, and performance analysis paid off when the client realized the following:
