A company in the Consumer Goods Industry (CGI) engaged Innovative Solution Partners to help introduce a rewards program for its customers. The vision for the rewards program was to offer perks such as lower shipping costs and customized promotions to build consumers’ loyalty in order to retain and grow their business.
ISP consultants worked with the client to design a solution to capture and mine customer data based on purchasing habits. ISP used data from the client’s consumer product purchase history database to build a robust tracking and reporting solution. In building this application, ISP used SAP Business Warehouse (BW) for data modeling and data storage, SAP Business Intelligence (BI) for reporting, and SAP ABAP programming for customizing the platform logic.
As a result of implementing the rewards program powered by the data solution ISP developed, the client experienced an increase in new customers, greater retention of existing customers, and an increase the average sale per customer.
